# Neumorphic Soft — the DashSupport.Team system
### Sculpted from one material. Raised invites; inset holds; press commits.

> The interface is not drawn on the surface — it is carved from it.

## The idea
One continuous material — porcelain by day, soft graphite by night — shaped by a single,
never-moving light source. Elements do not sit ON the page; they rise from it or are
pressed into it. Depth carries meaning, so decoration becomes unnecessary: the physics IS
the styling. This is the system this site is made of.

## Tokens — daylight (porcelain)
- Ground `#E6EAF1` · surface `#EEF2F8` · ink `#182335` · secondary `#2A3A52` · accent `#0A5AA0`
- Raised: `-8px -8px 20px rgba(255,255,255,.92), 10px 10px 26px rgba(146,161,187,.44)`
- Inset: `inset 5px 5px 12px rgba(146,161,187,.44), inset -5px -5px 12px rgba(255,255,255,.92)`

## Tokens — night (graphite)
- Ground `#22262C` · surface `#262B32` · ink `#F2F5F9` · accent `#7BE3EA`
- Raised: `-6px -6px 16px rgba(255,255,255,.05), 9px 9px 22px rgba(0,0,0,.55)`
- The night is soft — never pure black. Shadows deepen; the light never moves.

## The electric current
One cyan — `#00C2E0` by day, `#22D3EE` by night — spent on the single most important
element per page as a slow breathing aura. One aura per page: if two things glow,
neither is important.

## The grammar of depth
- **Raised** = an invitation. Cards, buttons, doors — things you may act on.
- **Inset** = a held space. Inputs, wells, tracks — things that receive.
- **Pressed** = a commitment. The active tab, the chosen toggle — decisions, made visible.
- **Flat** = reading. Text floats free; relief never carries legibility.

## Rules
- Light from the top-left, always, on every element, in both modes.
- Flatten the whole design mentally — every word must still pass 7:1 contrast.
- Round everything (20–34px). The material has no sharp edges, and no hard borders —
form is defined by light alone.
- Buttons physically press (1px travel + shadow swap). Toggles slide in carved wells.
- Space is structure: fewer elements, further apart, sculpted deeper.

## Use it when
- Support surfaces, settings, dashboards — anywhere calm is the feature.
- Products that must feel *solid and touchable*: wallets, controls, tools people rely on.
- Audiences burned out by neon crypto noise. This is the antidote.

## Example application
A Dash wallet balance screen: the balance carved into an inset well (held, safe); one
raised blue Send pill (the invitation); the confirm state pressed-in (the commitment);
a soft cyan aura only on the incoming-payment toast. Trust, rendered as physics.

## In the Dash spirit
Self-custody is trust you can *verify*; neumorphism is trust you can *feel*. Honest
physics — buttons that visibly press, states that visibly hold — is the UI-layer
expression of a chain that shows its work.

## The lesson to steal
Tactility builds belief. When the interface behaves like real material, people extend it
the trust they give real things.
